Scope and operator
This policy applies to the information handled by BGM Master. It covers the Android application, the website at www.masterbgm.com, and associated services.
BGM Master does not currently offer account registration or sign-in. Its core music and video tools operate primarily on your device. If account features are introduced, this policy will be updated.
Information we handle
Information you provide
When you contact support, we receive your email address, the content of your message, and any feedback you submit. We do not request sensitive data such as passwords or payment information in support channels.
Information stored locally on your device
The application stores settings, search history, favorites, playlists, playback history, and temporary media caches locally on your device. Music you permit the app to access and videos you select are processed on your device; we do not upload those media files to our servers. Exported videos and playlist backups may be saved outside the app's private storage, according to your choices and device settings.
Technical and usage information
When the app checks for updates or retrieves advertising configuration, the relevant server receives information needed to respond, such as your IP address. When advertising services are used, Google may also process technical, diagnostic, identifier, and interaction data as described below.
How we use information
We use the limited information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and deliver the app's functionality;
- Respond to user feedback and customer support inquiries;
- Display ads and measure their performance when advertising is enabled;
- Analyze advertising and SDK performance, prevent fraud, and protect security; and
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
Retention and security
App-private data remains on your device until you clear it or uninstall the app. Exported videos and backups stored outside the app may remain until you delete them separately. We retain support emails only as long as needed for support, legal, or security purposes. Google and other service providers retain information under their own policies and applicable requirements.
The app uses HTTPS for its configuration and update requests. Google states that data collected by the Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure.
How to request data deletion
Because Master BGM does not currently require user accounts, most user data is stored locally on your device. However, if you have contacted us for support or believe we hold identifiable information about you, you can request its deletion.
Email high0223@gmail.com with the subject line Personal Data Deletion Request. Include the email address used to contact us previously.
We will process verified deletion requests within 30 days.
Deleting data stored locally
To delete app-private data, open your device's application settings for BGM Master and select "Clear Data" or uninstall the app. Clearing the cache removes temporary files only. Your original music and videos, exported videos, and backups stored outside the app may remain on your device and must be deleted separately if desired. Google's data is handled under its own policies; Android advertising ID controls are available in your device settings.
Your privacy rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (such as the GDPR in Europe or CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, please contact us at high0223@gmail.com.
Children's privacy
Master BGM is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
Policy changes
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date will reflect the date of the changes.
